Halifax County Church Watch Program
Using the form below, fill out your Church Watch Program information. You can return it by e-mail, fax, or requesting a deputy to pick it up.
As a part of the Halifax County Sheriffs Office's effort to ensure security and provide up-to-date information to our community, we are asking for information from churches in Halifax County. There is an information form enclosed for you to provide information about your church. We will share the information with city police departments and central communications to allow law enforcement to quickly make contact in the event of an emergency or for a community event.
We are requesting contact information for two people who are responsible for the church in the event that we need to contact someone at night or when someone is not available at the church. If possible, please provide an email address so that the Sheriffs Office can send out event fliers, invitations, or other information over email rather than mailing or delivering it. This will save time and money for the Sheriffs Office.
For church location, if you don't know whether it is in the county or the city, it is not a problem. We can determine that by address. For community, please list the closest community to the church so we can include it for community-specific events. An example would be a church that is in Hollister but has an Enfield address.
Please return the completed form by email, fax, mail, or you can request a deputy to pick it up. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us at 252-583-8201.
